addressed by evangelical protestants in the Philippines, 1974 - 1994"

by Francisco D. Gayoba |

Doctor of Theology South East Asia Graduate School of Theology, March 1997
|

The study examines the interrelationship between the issues addressed
by the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC) during the years
1974 - 1994, the Philippine situation, and the interpretative framework
used. At the beginning of the 1974 - 1982 period, the greater concern
for Evangelicals was evangelism and how to maintain orthodoxy rather than

of Zamboanga - Basilan cities (1953 - 1956)"

by Porfirio J. Ignacio |

Master of Arts National Teachers College, May 1957
|
| |
This is a study of the projects and activities of the rural schools in the
Division of Zamboanga - Basilan Cities; to determine how effective they
have been toward the improvement of the areas in which they are located.
At last, the government has found out that its first concern in the development
of the rural areas are the rural schools. since this is the first concern
of the government, it is no wonder then that school officials everywhere
are now thinking, talking, and planning for the rural schools. It is now
being realized that there are advantages to be derived from life in the
country which can not be duplicated by city or urban life; that the rural
schools, though backward, have some good features which, if properly utilized,
make for good citizenship and noble aspirations. Then, too, this study
was undertaken to find ways and means of making the rural classroom teachers
more effective in the performance of their job --- in their teaching as
well as in their dealings with the rural folks; to help improve rural
school supervision and administration; and to find out why rural folks
are not always cooperative with the school authorities.
